ABOUT ME AND MY PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a self-taught photographer alongside my job as a System Engineer with the European Space Agency.  I have a particular interest in travel photography, and once drove a tiny car  from the UK to Mongolia for charity.

My other passions include live music, single malt whisky, and a classic 1962 Volkswagen camper van called Douglas.

My photography developed out of amateur enthusiasm and focuses on sharing what I learn.  My scientific and engineering background gives me a deep technical understanding of my equipment and processes, and my work has featured in various publications and online media.
